Focus on VIENNA		Together with Budapest & Bratislava - 1992

Part One : Underground Giant drills arise, partly hidden in the soil, near 3 metro stations on historic sites, drawing our attention to the historic treasures discovered in the underground. Part Two : Golden Section The Golden Section typifies the classical character of the city Part Three : the Park On the water: Mercator’s globe. All the European countries symbolically float towards one another: formerly a Habsburg empire, now a European Union. 20 giant postcards each filled out by 20 Vienna artists or architects, showing their own view on their city.

Deel 1 : Metro Bij 3 stations, gelegen bij historische plaatsen staan uitvergrote boren opgesteld, verwijzend naar de historische schatten in de ondergrond. Deel2 : Gulden Snede De Gulden Snede symboliseert het klassieke karakter van de stad. Deel 3 : Omgeving Karlplatz Op de waterpartij: de wereldbol van Mercator. Symbolisch drijven alle Europese landen naar elkaar toe: voormalig Habsburgs rijk, nu Europese Unie Park: 20 reuzeprentkaarten, individueel ingevuld door Weense kunstenaars en architecten met hun eigen visie op hun stad.

Premier volet : Métro Des foreuses géantes sont érigées, à moitié cachées dans le sol près de 3 stations métro, situées à des endroits historiques, attirant notre attention sur les trésors historiques découverts dans le sous-sol. Deuxième volet : Section Dorée La Section Dorée symbolise le caractère classique de la ville Troisième volet : Parc Sur l’eau: le globe de Mercator. Tous les pays d’Europe flottent symboliquement vers un point commun: jadis empire habsbourgeois, maintenant Union Européenne 20 cartes de vue géantes, remplies individuellement par 20 artistes ou architectes viennois, avec leur propre vision de leur ville.
